Last spring my dear childhood friend, director Jeff Verlanic, asked me to make a score for his film “I Await The Devil’s Coming.” Based upon the electrifying memoirs of late 19th century Monatanan, Mary MacLane, this short film tells the story of her doomed romance with Katherine, a traveling pastor's daughter from San Francisco and her intense and surreal inner life. I hope you get to see the film soon, but in the mean time, here are some highlights from the score!
